Make Prescription Lenses Fashionable With Sun Clips

Sunglasses have become a fashion accessory almost as high in demand as purses and shoes. A pair of good sunglasses can now make or break your look, and as such they come in many different shapes, sizes and colors. They come from big and round to barely wider than the tip of your finger. It is even possible to have different pairs of sunglasses to go with the different color themes in your wardrobe.

Due to advancements in the fields of computers and television, sunglasses are now even more common than before. Prolonged exposure to these newfangled machines will affect your vision eventually, after all. Statistics say that approximately 19 million individuals over the age of 18 have trouble with their vision, and this number continues to increase year by year. More than half of these people continue to suffer from small problems even after wearing their prescription glasses every single day.

For young people in high school, sunglasses are considered cool and fashionable, whenas glasses are not. Everyone wants to fit in and look good in the eyes of others, but that is hard to do when you have to wear glasses just to be able to see the numbers on the clock. Prescription sunglasses were the answer: they can make you look cool and still read the label on the soda can at the other table.

Of course they come with their own inconveniences; wearing them where the light isn't bright can become irritating, and carrying two pairs of glasses, one for indoors and the other for outdoors, is too troublesome. But like most things, this too has an answer.

While not considered as fashionable as sunglasses, shade clips still get the job done while making it look fairly good. They can be made to fit your glasses, or you can find them ready-made at your local supermarket. But in order to suit the exact size and shape of your glasses, it is best to have them custom-made at your nearest optical store.

Occasionally, a pair of shade clips will come with the glasses, when you buy them. They can be attached by small magnets fitted in the frame of your glasses, unlike the ones you buy which usually have plastic clips to keep them in place. They even come tinted and are a much easier way of staying fashionable. After all, isn't it cheaper to buy a dozen sun clips in different colors? And since they barely take up any space, you can even carry them with you all at once.
